Indian Society of Renal and Transplantation Pathology (ISRTP) was formed during the “ First International CME on
Renal Pathology” Organized by Department of Pathology, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences  Lucknow , India , Lucknow from 14th to 16th  March 2005. 

The CME was attended by more than 100 practicing renal pathologists from the country and abroad and they resolved to
form this society.
